I'm surprised no one thought of this earlier: cars that have different electronically tagged keys that limit the top speed a car will travel when a teen is behind the wheel.
If it can be broken, it will be broken. Stopping teens from speeding?!?!?; stopping teens from hacking!!!! I give it a week before patches are released that break the coding.
BTW, you seem to be pretty interested in New Zealand politics, where are you based?
